The Lumineers – Digital/Online Campaign

We were asked by Universal Music to come up with a creative idea that could be used online to help promote the release of The Lumineer’s new album Cleopatra.

We really liked the video for the band’s last single Ophelia which featured lead singer Wesley Schultz having an out of body experience and dancing through town in the rain. The full video can be seen here –

Taken out of context, the dancing has a great ‘what’s going on here?’ quality to it which draws the viewers attention so we took a snippet from the video where he is dancing in front of a plain wall and, in post, added photos and information on to the wall and made them look as if they had been painted there originally.

We produced a 20 second and 10 second version that could be used across different online social media platforms.
